Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer
Oracle
Oracle
This role focuses on designing, implementing, and enhancing distributed systems components. The emphasis is on building solutions that are highly scalable, resilient, and operable. You will be responsible for developing features, conducting load and performance testing, and leveraging advanced data platforms and state management tools for efficient data handling.
Key aspects include building robust fault-tolerant systems through redundancy and automatic failover, applying recovery-oriented principles, and implementing mechanisms like retries and circuit breakers. Proactive issue detection and mitigation using tests, alarms, dashboards, and telemetry are crucial, alongside authoring runbooks and participating in incident response.
The role also involves implementing standard replication and synchronization techniques, developing automation for troubleshooting, and applying stringent security controls. Adherence to change management, compliance, and documentation standards is expected.
