Design, implement, and optimize distributed system components with a focus on scalability, resilience, and operability. Leverage data plane platforms and distributed state tools for high-volume data retrieval, storage, and processing. Develop and implement fault-tolerant paths, applying recovery-oriented principles and mechanisms like retries and circuit breakers. Proactively detect and mitigate issues through tests, alarms, dashboards, and telemetry, authoring runbooks and participating in incident response. Implement standard replication, synchronization, and advanced security controls. Develop automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for troubleshooting and maintenance, ensuring compliance and documentation standards.

A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in commercial or open-source software development. Strong proficiency in C++, Java, or similar modern programming languages. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a solid grasp of Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and building cloud-scale control plane systems. Proficient systems programming skills, including multi-threading and concurrency. A strong understanding of distributed systems concepts such as consistency, scaling, and failure recovery. Demonstrated experience in implementation testing, debugging, and documentation within a Linux development environment. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Possess intense curiosity, a willingness to question, and a passion for enhancing systems.
