Join our team as a Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer, focusing on designing, implementing, and optimizing distributed systems. You will drive advancements in scalability, resiliency, and operability, ensuring high-volume data processing and storage capabilities. This role involves developing fault-tolerant architectures, proactive issue detection, and robust incident management.
This position is ideal for experienced engineers passionate about building and maintaining robust, large-scale systems. You'll contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing scalable distributed system components, optimizing code for large-scale data processing, and performing performance and load testing. You will design and build fault-tolerant systems with redundancy and automatic failover, applying recovery-oriented principles. Additionally, you'll implement proactive issue detection through tests and alarms, author runbooks, and participate in incident response and RCAs.
You will also implement standard data replication and synchronization, develop automation for troubleshooting and maintenance, and apply advanced security controls. Ensuring compliance with change management, documentation, and security standards will be crucial.
This role requires a strong background in designing and optimizing distributed systems with a focus on scalability and reliability. Candidates should possess expertise in building fault-tolerant paths, implementing recovery-oriented principles, and managing system reliability through tests, alarms, and telemetry. Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and advanced security controls like encryption and access management is essential.
