Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of highly scalable and resilient distributed systems. This role focuses on enhancing operability and leveraging advanced tools for high-volume data processing.

You will be instrumental in building robust fault-tolerant paths, implementing recovery-oriented principles, and ensuring system stability through proactive issue detection and mitigation.

Key contributions include developing automation for troubleshooting, applying stringent security measures, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and documentation requirements.

Design and implement scalable components for distributed systems, optimizing for large-scale data processing. Develop fault-tolerant architectures with redundancy and automatic failover mechanisms.

Implement recovery-oriented principles and mechanisms like retries and circuit breakers to enhance reliability. Proactively detect and address issues through comprehensive testing, alarms, dashboards, and telemetry.

Author runbooks, participate in incident response, and conduct root cause analyses. Develop and maintain automation scripts (IaC) for troubleshooting and operational tasks. Apply advanced security controls including encryption and access management, ensuring compliance and up-to-date documentation.

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing distributed systems with a strong emphasis on scalability, resiliency, and operability. Expertise in building fault-tolerant paths, implementing recovery-oriented principles, and applying techniques such as retries and circuit breakers.

Demonstrated ability in proactive issue detection and mitigation using tests, alarms, dashboards, and telemetry. Experience in authoring runbooks and participating in incident response and root cause analyses is essential.

Proficiency in implementing automation/IaC for troubleshooting and maintenance, alongside advanced security controls (encryption, access, remediation). A solid understanding of change management, compliance, and documentation standards is required. This role may require a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
