We are seeking a Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize critical components within distributed systems. The focus will be on enhancing scalability, resilience, and operability. This role involves delivering new features, conducting load and performance tests, and leveraging advanced data plane platforms and distributed state tools for high-volume data processing. Peer code reviews will ensure adherence to scalability standards.

You will be instrumental in building robust fault-tolerant systems, incorporating redundancy, replication, and automatic failover. Applying recovery-oriented principles and implementing mechanisms like retries, circuit breakers, and timeouts will be key to managing network unreliability. Proactive issue detection and mitigation through comprehensive testing, alarms, dashboards, and telemetry are essential, alongside authoring runbooks and actively participating in incident response and root cause analyses.

Further responsibilities include implementing standard replication and synchronization, developing automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for efficient troubleshooting and maintenance, and applying advanced security controls like encryption and access management. Ensuring compliance with change management, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements is also critical.
