Join EY Consulting's Technology Strategy & Transformation team as a Senior Consultant in New Delhi. This role is within our Global Government & Public Sector (GPS) practice, focused on leveraging technology to solve critical public sector challenges and drive digital transformation.

You will contribute to shaping the future of public services by assisting government entities in reinventing themselves through strategic technology adoption, organizational overhaul, and process improvement. Our team helps clients achieve a wider vision for how public services function, balancing strategic choices to enhance performance.

You will be instrumental in driving technical excellence through strong full-stack development expertise in Java, Python, and other backend technologies, coupled with hands-on experience in frontend frameworks like React or Angular. Responsibilities include designing and developing robust web portals, dashboards, and scalable backend services, with a focus on microservices architecture and REST APIs.

Key duties involve ensuring adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and performance benchmarks through code reviews and CI/CD practices. You will also coordinate technical teams across frontend, backend, API, database, testing, and deployment activities, including UAT and production stabilization.

To excel in this role, a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science is required, along with a minimum of 4 years of full-stack development experience. You should possess strong proficiency in Java, Python, and frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.

Essential skills include experience with designing and developing scalable backend services, APIs, databases, and system integrations. Familiarity with microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD practices, and code reviews is crucial. The ability to work collaboratively across client departments, solve complex problems with practical solutions, and demonstrate agility, curiosity, and creativity is highly valued.
