An opportunity exists for a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE 2) to join our dynamic engineering team. This role requires robust expertise in Java, Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing sophisticated automated testing solutions to guarantee the quality, reliability, and optimal performance of our web and mobile applications.

Key duties involve designing, building, and maintaining adaptable automation frameworks for both web and mobile platforms. You will develop and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and Rest Assured. The role includes conducting comprehensive functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing, alongside validating REST APIs and microservices.

Collaboration with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams is crucial for ensuring high-quality releases. Active participation in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups is expected. You will also be responsible for identifying, logging, and tracking defects, contributing to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution, and preparing essential test documentation like plans, cases, reports, and quality metrics. Continuous enhancement of test coverage, framework stability, and execution efficiency will be a core focus.

Essential qualifications include 5-8 years of dedicated experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation. A strong command of Java programming is mandatory, complemented by practical experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation and Appium for mobile testing (Android/iOS). Extensive expertise in REST API Automation using Rest Assured is also required, along with experience in TestNG/JUnit frameworks. A solid understanding of API testing, JSON, XML, Microservices architecture, and defect tracking tools like JIRA is necessary.

Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies is vital. Experience with Git version control is a must. Preferred skills encompass CI/CD experience using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions, exposure to Docker and cloud environments, and experience with SQL databases for backend validation. Knowledge of performance testing tools is beneficial, and prior experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain is highly preferred.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Exceptional analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities are expected, along with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
