This role is for a Senior Consultant within our TMT (Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications) Indirect Tax team, based in Mumbai. We help TMT organizations navigate industry convergence, enhance competitiveness, and develop agile strategies for growth. Our team assists clients in creating exceptional employee and customer experiences, achieving operational excellence, and pursuing value-generating M&A strategies.

This position demands strong expertise in indirect tax compliance, including the preparation, review, and management of tax filings and statutory obligations. You will be responsible for analyzing audit assessments, responding to notices from authorities, and actively supporting tax controversy matters. A key aspect will be providing solid advisory services on indirect tax implications, offering practical and risk-aware recommendations.

Further responsibilities include hands-on litigation support, which involves meticulous documentation, case preparation, and effective coordination across tax proceedings. Familiarity with tax technology solutions and automation tools to enhance compliance processes is essential. Experience with AI-based enhancements in this area is considered an advantage.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in Indirect Tax (IDT).
