This Senior Consultant role is part of the National TAX ITTS Advisory team in Bangalore. The National teams operate across various industries, providing a well-rounded experience. Our TAX ITTS Advisory professionals offer integrated tax services, assisting clients in navigating rapid industry changes. We combine deep expertise with advanced technology to empower clients with better business decisions through insightful analysis.

Our teams leverage cutting-edge technologies for strategy and execution, covering tax and regulatory obligations, operations, and workforce management to reduce risk and drive sustainable value. Our competencies include Business Tax Services, Global Compliance and Reporting, Global Law, Indirect Tax, International Tax, and Transaction Services.
As a Senior Consultant, your primary objective is to deliver high-quality work for the Transaction Tax team, utilizing your tax knowledge gained through training and mentorship. You will contribute to profitable growth by ensuring efficient client engagement execution.
Client responsibilities include conducting engagements professionally, meeting client expectations, and adhering to contract terms. Building productive client relationships is key where client interaction occurs.
People responsibilities involve maintaining a positive attitude, demonstrating a willingness to learn, and contributing knowledge from various sources. Providing timely, high-quality services and work products is essential. You will also mentor and coach interns and consultants.
Operational Excellence and Day-to-Day tasks include researching and analyzing transaction tax laws (domestic and international tax, corporate laws, SEBI, FEMA, Competition Act, stamp duty laws) for inbound and outbound deals, corporate reorganizations, and securities market aspects. You'll research tax theories and positions, applying them to client-specific needs. Preparing deliverables that capture implications from this research, in formats like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or email, is also a core part of the role.
To excel in this role, you should possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrate keen attention to detail. A positive, responsible attitude and the capacity to handle pressure are essential. Willingness to travel locally and out of city for work is also required.
To qualify, you must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in M&A taxation matters. A working knowledge of SEBI, FEMA, and stamp duty laws is necessary. Additionally, a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in transaction tax-related laws is required.
