This Senior Consultant role is within our Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility & Infrastructure (AMI) and Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) tax team in Pune.

Your primary responsibilities include assisting seniors with client queries on corporate tax matters, such as capital gains and tax payments. You will conduct technical research on income tax provisions, prepare submissions for assessment and appellate proceedings, and support representations before tax authorities. This role also involves handling routine client administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with engagement terms, and contributing to team performance and knowledge sharing. You will execute assigned tasks according to work programs and firm methodologies, utilizing electronic working papers and software for research.

To excel in this role, you need to be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years of experience in direct tax. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential, alongside strong analytical and numerical abilities. You must be able to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and demonstrate good interpersonal skills. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, self-starters, comfortable interacting with senior executives, and flexible to travel for work.
