Join Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice as a Senior Consultant and SDET Engineer. This role focuses on leveraging vast amounts of data to provide strategic guidance and implementation services. Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks with a strong focus on scalability, reusability, and maintainability. Write production-quality automation code, applying design patterns and clean code principles. Implement comprehensive testing strategies across UI, functional, API, and performance aspects. Debug complex automation failures, conduct thorough root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to ensure test stability. Design and build scalable automation frameworks from inception, integrating them seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.

A minimum of 6-9 years of hands-on experience as an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) is required, with a proven track record in building and maintaining automation frameworks. Strong coding proficiency in languages like JavaScript is essential for developing scalable and maintainable test architectures. Demonstrated experience in writing production-quality automation code, implementing design patterns, and adhering to clean code principles is crucial. Proficiency in UI and functional testing tools such as Cypress and Playwright is expected. Experience with AI testing, API testing, performance testing, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow is necessary. Familiarity with various testing types, including functional, integration, regression, mobile, data, security, component, and UI/UX testing, is required. Experience testing AI-powered solutions and Agentic AI solutions (e.g., MCP, RAG, Prompting) is highly valued. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a prerequisite for this role.
