This Senior Consultant role focuses on end-to-end delivery within SAP Transportation Management (TM). The position involves driving transportation strategy and network optimization initiatives, requiring deep expertise in complex SAP TM configurations. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems, facilitating workshops to identify process improvements, and guiding the onboarding of carriers and freight forwarders. The role also includes managing cutover readiness, providing user training, and offering hypercare support, while mentoring junior team members.

Lead the complete SAP Transportation Management (TM) workstream, encompassing transportation strategy and network optimization. Configure key SAP TM functional areas like Freight Orders, Freight Bookings, planning, charge management, and settlement. Manage and drive TM integration testing with systems such as SAP EWM and carrier EDI. Conduct logistics optimization workshops with stakeholders to enhance transportation efficiency. Oversee carrier and freight forwarder onboarding and collaboration. Provide strategic direction for logistics network optimization and freight cost reduction. Ensure readiness for cutover and go-live, including defect resolution and user support. Mentor and guide TM consultants and project team members.

A minimum of 8 years of SAP experience with a strong focus on SAP Transportation Management (TM). Proven hands-on experience in SAP TM implementation, rollout, and support projects. In-depth functional knowledge of transportation planning, freight execution, charge calculation, settlement, and network optimization. Extensive experience integrating SAP TM with SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, carrier EDI, and third-party logistics platforms. Demonstrated ability to lead client workshops, gather requirements, and design scalable SAP TM solutions. Experience managing complex, multi-modal, and global transportation scenarios. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities. Exposure to logistics cost optimization and transportation strategy is highly desirable.
