This senior consulting role focuses on SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) within Deloitte's Enterprise Technology & Performance practice. The position is based in Bengaluru, India. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and supporting SAP MDG applications to drive functional excellence and innovation for clients in the Oil, Gas, and Utilities sectors.

As a key member of the team, you will leverage your expertise in SAP MDG to enhance enterprise technology, enabling growth and operational efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical client projects and shape the future of master data management.

Your primary responsibilities will involve the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP MDG solutions. This includes configuring and developing solutions for critical master data domains like Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material, and Financial.

You will also be tasked with developing and enhancing MDG Data Models, Change Requests, Workflows, BRF+ rules, UI configurations, and Validation/Derivation logic. Building and improving SAP MDG Fiori applications, developing ABAP objects, and configuring SAP Workflow for governance processes are also key aspects of this role. Integration with other SAP and third-party applications through APIs, Web Services, and IDocs will be essential.

To be successful in this role, you should possess 3 to 12 years of extensive hands-on experience with SAP MDG and a strong track record in MDG implementations. A deep understanding of various ABAP development objects such as Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, BAdIs, and User Exits is crucial.

Familiarity with data migration and replication tools like SAP Data Services and DRF is required. Experience in troubleshooting production issues, optimizing application performance, and preparing technical documentation is also expected. Collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout project lifecycles is a vital part of this position.
