Join our dynamic team as a Senior SAP GTS Consultant in Kolkata. This role is pivotal in leading the design, implementation, and enhancement of SAP Global Trade Services solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring compliant global trade operations, optimizing cross-border processes, and supporting critical regulatory requirements such as customs management, export controls, sanctions screening, and trade preference management.

This position requires deep functional expertise in SAP GTS, a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end global trade processes, and seamless integration with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering large-scale transformation programs and a passion for driving innovation in enterprise technology.

Lead SAP GTS workshops to meticulously gather business requirements across all global trade functions. Design and configure robust SAP GTS solutions, encompassing Compliance Management, Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening, Embargo Checks, Export Control Management, Customs Management, Trade Preference Management, and Intrastat/Extrastat Reporting.

Prepare detailed functional specifications, process flows, and solution design documents. Conduct thorough fit-gap assessments and propose industry-leading best practices. Lead SAP GTS implementation, rollout, upgrade, and enhancement projects, including the configuration of organizational structures, compliance settings, legal regulations, and customs procedures.

Support end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment phases. Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams such as SD, MM, EWM, TM, FICO, and Logistics. Manage integration between SAP GTS and SAP S/4HANA, SAP EWM, SAP TM, and external customs/government systems, defining middleware and interface requirements using SAP CPI, PI/PO, or other relevant platforms.

A minimum of 6-10 years of SAP experience is required, with at least 4 years specifically focused on SAP GTS. You should have successfully completed a minimum of 2 full-cycle SAP GTS implementation projects and possess experience in global rollout or transformation programs, preferably within multinational organizations.

Essential technical skills include strong expertise in SAP GTS Compliance Management, Customs Management, Export Controls, SPL Screening, and Trade Preference Processing. You need a solid understanding of integration with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, along with familiarity with ALE/IDoc, RFC interfaces, and middleware technologies.

Domain knowledge in International Trade Compliance, Customs Regulations, Import/Export Procedures, Free Trade Agreements (FTA), Harmonized Tariff Schedules (HTS), and Product Classification is crucial. While not mandatory, familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and ABAP debugging/enhancement frameworks is advantageous. Preferred certifications include SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Global Trade Services, SAP S/4HANA certifications, or relevant customs and international trade compliance certifications.
