Seeking a Senior SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in S/4HANA Finance GL Accounting. This role focuses on the Upstream Oil & Gas sector, requiring the ability to translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions. You will be instrumental in delivering end-to-end S/4HANA Finance GL Accounting implementations and enhancements.

Drive the delivery of comprehensive S/4HANA Finance GL Accounting solutions, translating business requirements into technical specifications. Configure S/4HANA systems, adhering to best practices and build standards. Integrate seamlessly with other SAP modules and functional areas.

Analyze and resolve incidents, undertaking problem analysis to prevent reoccurrences. Support defect resolution during testing and hypercare, and address production issues. Define and maintain IT solutions ensuring they are robust, supportable, and scalable, with updated documentation.

Propose functional improvements and ensure a deep understanding of how applications support business processes. Ensure all changes are thoroughly documented and comply with group and upstream IT standards and processes.

A minimum of 8 years of experience in S/4HANA Finance GL Accounting configuration and associated business processes is essential. Proven experience in at least one or two full implementations, with strong capabilities in providing solutions for finance business processes.

Demonstrated experience handling complex change requests and enhancements is mandatory. A solid understanding of Finance Close, Consolidation, and Group Reporting activities is required. Experience solely or predominantly in support roles will not be considered.

Proficiency in S/4HANA system implementation methodologies is expected. Excellent problem analysis skills and strong verbal and written English communication are necessary. The ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with effective prioritization is key. Experience in global implementation or support of S/4HANA GL Accounting solutions is highly advantageous.
