Seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant with expertise in SAP FICO to join our team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on the Finance / ERA domain within the Oil, Gas, and Utilities sector.

As a Functional Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and SAP FICO solutions. Your insights will drive process improvements and ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include leveraging strong SAP FICO experience to analyze and document finance business requirements, translating them into effective functional solutions.

You will be involved in understanding core Financial Accounting and Controlling processes, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO. Identifying process gaps, recommending SAP-based improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution validation are also vital aspects of this role.

Furthermore, you will manage functional testing, UAT coordination, defect analysis, and resolution. Preparing essential project documentation such as business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows will be expected. Strong collaboration with business users, SAP functional and technical teams, and project stakeholders is key to successful outcomes.

A strong foundation in SAP FICO with a comprehensive understanding of Financial Accounting and Controlling processes is essential. Experience in analyzing and documenting finance business requirements and translating them into SAP FICO functional solutions is a prerequisite.

Proficiency in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO) processes is required. The ability to assess existing finance processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose SAP-centric solutions is crucial.

Prior experience in engaging with business stakeholders for requirement gathering, process analysis, solution validation, and functional discussions is necessary. A proven track record in functional testing, UAT coordination, defect analysis, and resolution across SAP Finance processes is expected. The role also demands the ability to create business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and test scenarios.
