Seeking an experienced Senior Consultant specializing in SAP FICO to join our team in Bengaluru. This role is crucial for understanding and translating complex business needs into effective SAP solutions within the Oil, Gas, and Utilities sectors. Your expertise will drive the implementation and optimization of SAP functionalities.

As a Reporting Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring clear communication and accurate translation of needs into functional specifications. You will be instrumental in managing customer expectations and validating solutions through rigorous testing.

Key responsibilities include deeply understanding business requirements and assessing their impact, identifying interdependencies, and translating these into detailed functional specifications. You will clearly articulate technical concepts to business stakeholders, manage expectations throughout project lifecycles, and develop comprehensive functional unit test scripts.

Active participation in application, role-based, and load testing is essential. You will support testing teams and business users across various testing phases, including Integration Testing, Single Functional Testing, and User Acceptance Testing. Ensuring traceability of requirements from data needs through to training and transition is a core duty. You will also validate and categorize reported incidents, providing functional support to the development team for issue resolution.

This role requires a minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 8 years focused on SAP Finance functional expertise. Essential skills include proficiency in creating report mockups/wireframes, mapping files, data flow documentation, and understanding entity-relationships between tables and data models.

A strong foundation in SAP ERP, relational database design, and data model design is mandatory. Candidates must possess a thorough understanding of various visualization tools such as Fiori Analytical floorplans, SAC, WebI, and Analysis for Office. Basic knowledge of data management frameworks and practices, including data analytics, integration, quality, and governance, is also required. Optional but beneficial skills include experience with Business Intelligence technologies and Agile scrum methodology using Azure DevOps.
