Join our dynamic team as a Senior SAP FICO Consultant in Bengaluru, specializing in the Oil, Gas, and Utilities sector. This role requires extensive experience in SAP FICO, with a strong emphasis on General Ledger (GL) and Asset Accounting (AA). You will play a key role in implementing S/4HANA solutions and supporting critical financial processes for major enterprises.

Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, including S/4HANA and ECC, and manage multiple support projects. Configure and manage GL accounting functionalities, ensuring smooth financial close processes, including month-end and year-end activities. Oversee Asset Accounting configuration and support, handling all aspects from acquisition to depreciation, and ensure seamless integration with MM and PM modules.

Collaborate effectively with business users, functional, and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions. Participate in testing cycles, manage defects, and provide production support. Drive global template rollouts and contribute to interface and data migration initiatives, including IDOC processing. Stay abreast of SAP Best Practices for S/4HANA Finance and utilize Fiori for enhancements and reporting.

A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO, with a deep focus on GL & AA. Proven experience with at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation and ECC implementation, alongside managing over 2 support projects. Strong understanding of financial business processes, accounting standards, and integration points with MM, SD, and CO. Hands-on experience with Fiori enhancements, including custom reports and CDS view-based reporting, is essential.

Demonstrated ability to work with business users, functional teams, and technical teams. Exposure to testing cycles (UT/ITC/UAT), defect handling, and production support is required. Experience in global template rollouts and knowledge of testing tools are beneficial. Prior experience in Oil & Gas/Energy/Large Enterprise Finance projects is highly preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, coupled with the ability to work independently and mentor junior team members, are crucial.
