Join our dynamic team as a Senior Consultant specializing in SAP CPI within the Enterprise Technology & Performance group. This role focuses on driving functional excellence and innovation through robust enterprise technology solutions. You will be instrumental in developing and managing critical integrations that connect our on-premise SAP S/4 HANA systems with various cloud and middleware applications, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.

Develop and maintain integrations between on-premise SAP S/4 HANA and cloud applications (e.g., SFDC, SAP Fiori Cloud), as well as other middleware (Informatica Cloud, GXS Open Text) and on-premise databases.

Translate functional designs into technical specifications, develop interfaces, perform mapping in CPI, and conduct bug fixing and testing.

Execute the transport of CPI and API Management Design Objects across tenants using methods like CTS+ or TMS.

Create comprehensive technical and interface specifications, along with API documentation, based on functional requirements.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree is required for this position.

Demonstrated experience with cloud connector setup for CPI to on-premise application connectivity (e.g., S4 HANA, Mail Server, DB).

Proven hands-on experience as an individual contributor in developing custom Integration Flows (IFlows) using SAP CPI middleware.

Must possess strong exposure to BTP IS - Cloud Integration and API Management (API Portal, Business Hub), including Open Connectors.

Experience utilizing API Portal to invoke exposed SAP S4 HANA APIs via APIM and configuring S4 HANA for API invocation (REST/SOAP/ODATA).

Proficiency in discovering standard integration flows and defining custom ones.

Expertise across various CPI adapters including ODATA, SFTP, FTP, IDOC, RFC/BAPI, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST, AMQP, JDBC, and XI Proxy.

Skilled in data conversion techniques (JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.).

Well-versed in API application key creation and management.

Experience with CPI pallet options, including integration patterns like Message Transformations, Aggregator, Enricher, Splitter.

Familiarity with other SAP integration technologies such as PI, CPI, EDI, ALE/IDOC, RFC/BAPI, and API-based integrations.

Must have expertise in writing Groovy and Java scripts.

Strong understanding of WSDL, JSON, XML, XSD, and XSLT technologies.

Expertise in Message Mapping techniques, including defining UDFs and XSLT mappings.

Knowledge of CPI exception handling, error notification, data persistence, and retry mechanisms.

Familiarity with security artifacts, encryption, and decryption mechanisms.

Must possess both CPI Development and Operation Support experience.
