Seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant specializing in Power BI to join our Data Modernization & Migration team. This role focuses on Power BI data modeling, architecture, and the design of sophisticated data models. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience, particularly in crafting scalable and optimized data solutions.

Collaborate with the team on developing robust Power BI data models and architecting scalable solutions.

Engage in data architecture discussions, providing expert recommendations on best practices and innovative approaches.

Design and implement advanced data models for upcoming Power BI initiatives, ensuring optimal performance.

Liaise with business and technical stakeholders to thoroughly understand and address reporting and analytics requirements.

Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing data models, identifying and implementing improvements for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Develop insightful Power BI reports and dashboards aligned with critical business objectives.

Leverage expertise with SAP data sources to create effective reporting solutions. Participate in technical discussions to help establish standards and best practices for Power BI development.

A minimum of 6-10 years of comprehensive experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, or data engineering is required.

Demonstrate strong, practical expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling and dimensional modeling concepts.

Possess a solid understanding of data warehousing principles and analytics architecture.

Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M) is essential for data manipulation and analysis.

Experience working with SQL and relational databases is necessary for effective data integration.

Ability to work effectively with distributed teams, including onsite and offshore colleagues.
