As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks and test cases across various applications and services. Your work will involve using Playwright with Java/Typescript and performing API automation.

You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. This includes performing automation testing with tools like Playwright and Cucumber, designing and implementing automated API tests using Rest Assured and Karate, and analyzing requirements to create detailed test plans.

Key duties involve automating functional, regression, and integration tests, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and testing Web UI, APIs, Web Services, Mobile Apps, and Salesforce applications. You will also manage test data, generate comprehensive reports, troubleshoot automation issues, and mentor junior team members.

This role requires 5 to 10 years of dedicated experience in automation testing, with a strong emphasis on Playwright UI and API automation. Expertise in programming languages such as Java and JavaScript (or similar) is essential.

Proficiency with automation tools like Playwright and Cucumber is required. Experience with database technologies such as Postgres and Snowflake, along with strong SQL skills, is also necessary.

Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) for test automation is beneficial. Candidates must possess strong communication and collaboration skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a prerequisite for this position.
