We are seeking an expert in Oracle OTBI and Oracle BI Publisher to design and implement robust reporting solutions within Oracle Cloud applications. This role involves translating client reporting needs into high-quality, tailored reports.

As a Senior Consultant, you will leverage your deep knowledge of Oracle reporting tools to deliver exceptional results. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing report performance and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

This is an onsite opportunity in Bengaluru, focused on HR Transformation projects, offering a chance to work directly with clients and shape impactful reporting strategies.

Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of customized OTBI and BI Publisher reports for Oracle Cloud Applications. Collaborate closely with functional teams to define and document reporting requirements. Develop, customize, and optimize OTBI reports for efficient data extraction and accuracy. Build and deploy comprehensive BI Publisher reports, including custom layouts and data models. Execute data extraction, transformation, and reporting tasks, integrating with other applications as necessary. Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues, ensuring data integrity and report performance. Participate actively in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Conduct performance tuning for OTBI and BIP reports to enhance efficiency. Provide guidance on Oracle reporting best practices to junior team members and end-users. Gather client feedback to ensure reports meet business needs and user expectations. Maintain and update existing reports, adapting to Oracle Cloud changes. Stay informed about the latest Oracle Cloud updates and reporting tool enhancements.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle reporting is essential, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP). Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud applications and their integration with OTBI/BIP. Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying OTBI and BI Publisher reports. Expertise in developing custom layouts, data models, and templates within BI Publisher. In-depth knowledge of Oracle Data Models, SQL, and data retrieval techniques. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and reporting best practices. Proven experience in performance tuning of OTBI and BIP reports. Excellent troubleshooting skills for data quality, report performance, and functional issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders.
