Join our dynamic Engineering team as a Senior Consultant specializing in Oracle VM (OVM) and Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM). This hybrid role in Bengaluru focuses on managing and enhancing enterprise-level virtualization platforms. You will be instrumental in maintaining platform stability, performance, and availability while driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives within our cloud engineering function.

Key responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and administration of OVM and OLVM environments, including manager patching and upgrades. You will manage virtual machines, storage domains, and virtualization networking components. The role also involves implementing High Availability (HA) strategies, monitoring performance, troubleshooting complex issues, and automating administrative tasks using tools like Ansible and Bash scripting. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation and supporting compliance requirements.

We are seeking candidates with a strong foundation in Oracle VM (Xen) and OLVM (KVM/oVirt), coupled with deep knowledge of Oracle Linux, virtualization networking, and enterprise storage. Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and scripting languages like Bash is essential, as is familiarity with REST APIs. A solid understanding of HA, clustering, VM migration, load balancing, and disaster recovery concepts is required. Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills across compute, networking, and storage layers are also critical. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (BE, B.Tech, ME, M.Tech) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience are necessary.
