This role requires a commitment to a night shift schedule (7:30 PM - 4:30 AM) and is based in Bengaluru.

Design and build robust REST microservices and event-driven systems using Spring Boot 3 and JDK 21. Migrate and refactor existing applications to leverage the latest JDK and Spring Boot features. Implement advanced messaging patterns with RabbitMQ and Kafka for asynchronous communication. Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, troubleshooting issues as they arise. Build and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines within GitLab for automated building, testing, and deployment. Design and optimize Oracle database schemas and write efficient PL/SQL and SQL queries. Develop lightweight microservices using Python and FastAPI for data analysis and ad-hoc tasks. Lead incident response, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure high code quality through comprehensive reviews and automated checks.

Proven experience in backend engineering with Java and Spring Boot, including expertise in virtual threads and other JDK 21 features. Strong understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and asynchronous messaging patterns (RabbitMQ, Kafka). Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. Solid skills in Oracle database development, including PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and schema design. Familiarity with Python and FastAPI for building microservices. Demonstrated ability to enforce code quality and lead production incident response. Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech) or Science (B.Sc). Availability for night shifts (7:30 PM - 4:30 AM).
