Join our Enterprise Technology & Performance team as a Senior Consultant specializing in Oracle Cloud Stack Development. This role focuses on driving functional excellence and enabling innovation through robust technology solutions. The position requires a commitment to a Java Support role with a mandatory night shift from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST.

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of backend engineering, messaging systems, DevOps practices, and database management within the Oracle ecosystem.

Develop and deploy REST microservices and event-driven architectures using Spring Boot 3 and JDK 21, leveraging features like virtual threads and enhanced HttpClient.

Migrate and refactor existing Spring Boot applications to the latest JDK and Spring Boot versions, ensuring dependency compatibility and API modernization.

Implement robust messaging solutions with RabbitMQ and Kafka, incorporating patterns for retry, dead-lettering, and idempotency to ensure reliable asynchronous communication.

Design and manage Kubernetes deployments, troubleshoot containerized application issues, and optimize Dockerfiles for efficient Java 21 builds.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for automated building, testing, security scanning, and deployment to Kubernetes.

Contribute to database management by designing schemas, writing optimized PL/SQL and SQL queries, and tuning Oracle database performance.

Proven experience in backend engineering, with a focus on designing and implementing REST microservices using Spring Boot 3 and JDK 21.

Demonstrated ability to work with messaging systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka, including implementing event-driven workflows and saga patterns.

Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.

Strong experience with Oracle database technologies, including schema design, PL/SQL, SQL optimization, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with Python and FastAPI for building lightweight microservices is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting production incidents, root-cause analysis, and implementing permanent fixes. Experience with observability tools and practices is essential.
