Lead mobile automation initiatives, driving the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Appium-based frameworks. Define and execute the mobile automation strategy across multiple projects, ensuring quality and best practices. Review automation scripts for adherence to standards and mentor engineering teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, product owners, and client stakeholders, throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.

Manage automation planning, estimation, execution, and release activities. Integrate automation suites with CI/CD tools like GitHub and Jenkins, and drive code quality using SonarQube. Perform API validation with Postman and utilize Charles Proxy for debugging. Support release validation and deployment readiness, analyze execution results, and lead defect triage and root cause analysis. Champion continuous improvement in automation frameworks and quality processes.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant – Mobile Automation SDET with 6-10 years of Quality Engineering experience. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Appium for both Android and iOS automation, with a minimum of two years dedicated to Appium or similar mobile automation tools. Proficiency in native UI test tools like Espresso and XCUI (minimum one year), device emulation/simulator tools (Perfecto, BrowserStack - minimum one year), and test automation using Java (minimum three years) is essential.

Experience with test management tools (Qtest, QualityCenter - minimum three years) and defect management tools (JIRA, Rally - minimum three years) is required. A minimum of three years in API test/debugging tools such as Postman is necessary. Functional testing experience is mandatory. Prior experience in an informal lead role working with technical teams (minimum one year) is also required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field is expected, though equivalent work experience may be considered.
