Join our Technology & Transformation practice as a Senior Consultant, specializing in Java Spring Boot and Microservices. You will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying high-throughput, resilient services within a regulated financial services environment.

Design and develop scalable microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Cloud Stream. Build and maintain event-driven messaging pipelines with Solace PubSub+. Implement and own RESTful APIs, contributing to design standards and documentation. Apply secure coding practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Write high-quality, testable code with comprehensive unit and integration testing. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and Ansible. Utilize developer productivity tools like Copilot. Package and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes. Operate and monitor production services using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and related observability tools. Contribute to PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, and migrations. Participate actively in code reviews and incident response, driving continuous improvement.

Requires a BE, B.Tech, or MCA degree and over 7 years of Java development experience. Must have at least 4 years of experience running Spring Boot microservices in production. Proficiency in Java (11/17/21), concurrency, memory model, clean code principles, SOLID, and design patterns is essential. Strong expertise in Spring Boot, MVC, Data JPA, Security, and Spring Cloud (Config, Gateway, Eureka/Consul, Resilience4j). Experience with REST principles, API versioning, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API security (OAuth2, JWT). Awareness of OWASP, dependency vulnerability management, and secrets management is crucial. Solid understanding of BDD with Cucumber, Git workflows, Jenkins pipeline-as-code, Ansible, Docker best practices, and Kubernetes deployments. Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and tracing tools. Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams with strong communication skills to articulate technical trade-offs. A proactive, security-conscious mindset and a strong sense of ownership are highly valued.
