You will be instrumental in designing, building, and deploying high-throughput, resilient microservices within a regulated financial services environment. This role offers a hybrid work model in Pune, fostering collaboration and adaptability. We are seeking individuals with a proactive, security-conscious mindset who can own solutions from inception through production support.

Design and develop scalable microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Cloud Stream. Build and maintain event-driven messaging pipelines with Solace PubSub+. Implement and own RESTful APIs, contributing to design standards. Apply secure coding practices throughout the SDLC, ensuring robust application security. Write high-quality, testable code with strong unit and integration test coverage.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Ansible. Utilize developer productivity tools, including AI-assisted coding assistants. Package and deploy services efficiently using Docker and Kubernetes. Operate and monitor production services with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki. Contribute to PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization, managing migrations via Flyway/Liquibase. Actively participate in code reviews and incident response to drive continuous improvement.

We require a Senior Java Developer with at least 7 years of Java development experience, including 4+ years of production experience with Spring Boot microservices. Proficiency in Java 11/17/21, concurrency, memory models, clean code principles, SOLID, and design patterns is essential. Expertise in Spring Boot, MVC, Data JPA, Security, and Spring Cloud components is critical.

Experience with REST principles, API versioning, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API security (OAuth2, JWT) is expected. A strong understanding of OWASP awareness, dependency vulnerability management, and secrets management (e.g., Vault) is necessary. Familiarity with BDD using Cucumber and integration testing within the Spring test context is key. Deep knowledge of Solace topics/queues, durable subscriptions, and error handling is required.

Candidates should demonstrate experience with Git workflows, Jenkins pipeline-as-code, Ansible playbooks, Docker best practices, and Kubernetes deployments. Proficiency in observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and tracing tools like Zipkin is important. A Bachelor's degree (BE/B.Tech) or MCA is required. Excellent communication skills and an Agile/Scrum mindset are highly valued.
