As a Senior Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java-based microservices utilizing Spring Boot. Your responsibilities will include building and consuming RESTful APIs to support scalable enterprise applications and developing cloud-native, distributed systems adhering to microservices architecture principles.

Key duties involve implementing secure, performant, and resilient services, working with various databases, integrating messaging solutions like Kafka, and containerizing applications with Docker for deployment on Kubernetes or OpenShift. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum settings, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues.

We are seeking candidates with 3-7 years of experience in Java Backend development. A strong understanding of designing and developing Java-based microservices with Spring Boot, along with experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, is essential.

Proficiency in developing cloud-native and distributed systems, implementing secure and performant services, and working with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB) is required. Experience with Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift is also crucial. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Management, or a related field are preferred.
