You'll be instrumental in driving enterprise-wide automation strategies across UI, API, database, and microservices. Lead the design and implementation of scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Playwright, establishing reusable testing architectures and coding standards. Drive automation initiatives across multiple projects, evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies. Ensure comprehensive testing coverage across UI, APIs, databases, and microservices, implementing shift-left methodologies for high automation and maintainability.

Develop robust automation for REST and service-layer testing, validating service integrations and event-driven architectures. Work extensively with API contracts, schemas, and microservices. Build automated quality gates within CI/CD pipelines, integrating frameworks with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions to support continuous integration and delivery.

Mentor test engineers, conduct automation code reviews, and define best practices. Participate in effort estimation, risk assessment, and project planning. Drive quality improvements through metrics and analytics, contributing to the overall technical leadership of the team.

We are looking for candidates with 6-9 years of experience in test automation. Essential skills include advanced Java and Python programming, strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Playwright, and expertise in API Automation using Rest Assured, Karate, and Postman. Proven experience in designing automation frameworks from scratch is required.

Proficiency in CI/CD implementation using Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps is crucial. Experience with SQL and NoSQL database testing, microservices architecture testing, and working with Docker and containerized environments is necessary. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Preferred skills encompass Kubernetes exposure, AWS/Azure cloud platforms, performance testing with JMeter, monitoring tools like Splunk, Grafana, and ELK, and awareness of security testing concepts (OWASP).
