Seeking a specialized Biomedical Engineer to act as a Procurement & Management Expert within the Project Management Unit (PMU) at TGMSIDC. This role offers a critical opportunity to shape and oversee the lifecycle management of medical equipment across Telangana's government healthcare facilities. You will provide essential technical and advisory support, ensuring efficient procurement, optimal utilization, and strict regulatory adherence.

This position is based onsite in Hyderabad, Telangana. We are looking for professionals with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to contribute to enhancing healthcare infrastructure through expert equipment management.

Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive technical support for the end-to-end procurement of medical equipment, from initial need assessment and specification development to final installation and acceptance.

You will be instrumental in reviewing and validating technical specifications, bid documents, and vendor proposals. Developing and implementing robust equipment lifecycle management frameworks, encompassing procurement, installation, warranty, maintenance, replacement planning, and disposal, will be a core part of your role.

Additional duties involve monitoring equipment performance and utilization, supporting service contract management, conducting ageing analysis for strategic replacement, and ensuring compliance with national regulations such as CDSCO, AERB, and BIS. You will also develop preventive maintenance and asset management frameworks, assist in inspections and commissioning, and support audit preparedness. Collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including hospitals, vendors, and government agencies, is crucial for success. Preparing regular reports and contributing to capacity-building programs are also key aspects of this role.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering (BME), Biomedical Instrumentation Engineering, or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE).

An MBA in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Hospital Management is highly preferred, adding significant value to the candidate's profile. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a related field is required for this position.

Essential skills include expertise in medical equipment procurement, lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, and asset management. Strong abilities in developing technical specifications, managing vendors, overseeing installation and maintenance, and monitoring equipment performance are also necessary.
