Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. Design and implement event-driven architectures with technologies like Solace PubSub+. Contribute to building and setting up new development environments and infrastructure. Utilize Kubernetes and containerization concepts for service deployment and management. Automate development and release processes using Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure the security and integrity of microservices against cybersecurity threats. Improve system reliability, quality, and time-to-market through proactive problem-solving and code enhancements. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features. Work with PostgreSQL for database schema management, query optimization, and migrations. Participate actively in code reviews and incident response, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Possess at least 7 years of Java development experience, with a minimum of 4 years running Spring Boot microservices in production. Demonstrate strong expertise in Java 11/17/21, concurrency, memory model, clean code principles, SOLID, and design patterns. Proficiency in Spring Boot, MVC, Data JPA, Security, and Spring Cloud components (Config, Gateway, Eureka/Consul, Resilience4j). Solid understanding of REST principles, API versioning, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API security (OAuth2, JWT). Familiarity with OWASP awareness, dependency vulnerability management, and secrets management solutions (e.g., Vault). Experience with BDD using Cucumber, including Gherkin syntax and test runner configuration. Hands-on experience with Solace topics/queues, durable subscriptions, and robust error handling mechanisms. Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including Git workflows, Jenkins pipeline-as-code, Ansible playbooks, and Docker best practices. Experience with Kubernetes deployments, probes, and managing containerized applications. Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and tracing systems like Zipkin or OpenTelemetry.
