This Senior Consultant position is part of the ASU - Forensics - Investigations & Compliance team, dedicated to helping companies protect their brand and financial reputation. We aim to build trust and confidence in capital markets and economies worldwide through insightful and high-quality services. The opportunity is for a professional with proven privacy experience, a strong grasp of global regulations, practical implementation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business, legal, technology, and risk teams. The role involves supporting client engagements, producing high-quality deliverables, and translating privacy requirements into actionable business processes and controls.

Key responsibilities include supporting the design and implementation of enterprise-wide privacy programs aligned with global privacy laws and best practices. You will assist in developing privacy policies, SOPs, and operating models, and conduct privacy maturity and gap assessments. Operationalizing privacy controls across business units and functions is crucial.

Further duties involve conducting and maintaining data mapping, TIAs, DPIAs, RoPAs, privacy notices, and retention schedules. You will also support Data Subject Rights (DSR), consent, and breach management. Embedding privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default principles with business and technology teams is a core function.

Additional responsibilities include supporting privacy reviews of vendors and third-party providers, managing assigned workstreams and timelines, and assisting with proposal development and knowledge-building initiatives. This role may also involve supporting other global regulatory compliance engagements outside the privacy domain.

To qualify for this role, you need 3-5 years of experience in data privacy, demonstrating a strong understanding of global privacy regulations and practical implementation experience. A legal background is preferred, with candidates holding an LL.B or LL.M from a recognized university being ideal.

Preferred qualifications include recognized privacy certifications such as IAPP or ISO. Familiarity with privacy technology tools like OneTrust, TrustArc, or Securiti is beneficial, as is a good understanding of information security concepts and their intersection with privacy.

We are looking for individuals with strong documentation, report writing, and presentation skills, capable of managing multiple deliverables in a fast-paced consulting environment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities are essential, alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in teams, with keen attention to detail and the capacity to handle sensitive information responsibly, is required.

Candidates from Noida are expected to travel to Gurgaon for client requirements. Flexibility to work in shifts to support international clients across different time zones is also necessary.
