Monitor and assess dust mitigation efforts across roads, construction sites, and open areas. Review and track road redevelopment and open area stabilization projects. Evaluate the effectiveness of various dust control measures, including sweeping, water sprinkling, and suppression systems. Identify and prioritize dust pollution hotspots using field data and analytical tools. Ensure compliance with dust management regulations for construction and infrastructure projects. Support enforcement agencies in adhering to dust control guidelines. Promote and assess green construction practices and sustainable waste management. Conduct compliance assessments and gap analyses for dust mitigation measures. Develop monitoring frameworks, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms. Analyze data to produce technical reports and recommendations. Coordinate with various urban local bodies and government agencies. Support policy development and implementation planning for dust and C&D waste management. Undertake site inspections to evaluate compliance and effectiveness. Provide technical input for guidelines and action plans related to dust pollution.
Requires a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience, with preferred candidates having 5+ years in fields like Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or Air Quality Management. A Bachelor's degree in sustainability, business, environmental studies, or a related field is necessary; an MBA, M. Tech., or M.E. is preferred. Demonstrated experience with sustainability frameworks (TCFD, SASB, GRI, CDP) and ESG rating methodologies is essential. Familiarity with sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, climate change strategy, and sustainable finance is highly valued. Strong data analytics and visualization skills, with proficiency in Excel and handling large datasets, are required. Ability to craft compelling narratives within the ESG and corporate sectors, alongside economic and financial analysis capabilities, is expected. Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with a strong network in the climate change and sustainability community, are crucial. Candidates should be fast learners, adaptable, possess out-of-the-box thinking for problem-solving, and be proven team players capable of leading teams.
