We are seeking a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to enhance security within our CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments. This role involves automating security checks, ensuring secure application delivery, and managing the entire runtime ecosystem.

The engineer will oversee GKE clusters, microservices, databases, and networking components, focusing on logging, monitoring, and autoscaling. Collaboration with development, security, and operations teams is crucial for maintaining reliable and secure applications.

Experience with HDFC Bank's production environments for UAT, deployments, and performance optimization is a key aspect of this position. A mandatory certification in Google Professional Cloud Engineer or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer is required, with GKE specialization or equivalent hands-on expertise being essential.

Develop and manage regional GKE clusters, ensuring robust autoscaling and high availability across zones. Configure node pools to support diverse AI workloads, including STT, TTS, and LLM microservices.

Oversee deployment and release management for all GCP components, implementing strategies like Blue/Green and Canary deployments. Troubleshoot critical production issues including high CPU, OOM errors, pod crashes, and latency within the AI pipelines.

Optimize performance for low-latency speech pipelines and large-scale call campaigns. Tune autoscaling and enhance Pub/Sub throughput, alongside database query performance. Implement and maintain security measures, including IAM, network security, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.

Possess deep hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), including cluster creation, management, and autoscaling. Expertise in deploying and managing microservices across GCP Core Services is essential.

Demonstrate strong skills in CI/CD practices, Docker image building, and artifact management. Proficiency in observability tools like Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, and Grafana is required.

Experience with enterprise security practices, including IAM, network security, and secrets management, is crucial. A minimum of 6 years of experience in a relevant role is expected. Google Professional Cloud Engineer or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification is mandatory.
