Lead database design, development, and optimization initiatives for public sector engagements. Translate client data requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient database solutions. Develop and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and other critical objects. Enhance database performance through advanced indexing, query tuning, and continuous monitoring. Implement robust ETL processes for seamless data integration from diverse sources. Ensure stringent database security, integrity, and effective backup/recovery mechanisms. Collaborate closely with application developers, data engineers, and analytics teams to achieve business objectives. Assist in architecting data models and database implementation strategies. Proactively build and nurture strong client and internal stakeholder relationships.

Possess extensive experience in database development utilizing PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational database systems. Demonstrate hands-on expertise in crafting complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views, with a focus on database optimization. Prove proficiency in database performance tuning, indexing strategies, query optimization, and systematic troubleshooting. Familiarity with ETL processes, data integration techniques, and database migration is essential. Capability to interpret client needs and engineer effective database solutions is paramount. Strong analytical abilities combined with a solid understanding of SQL and database design principles are required. An understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience handling large datasets is beneficial.
