We are seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in Data Analytics to join our team in Bengaluru. This role is crucial for an enterprise-scale Digital Data product within the BFSI sector, focusing on AI-driven insights and engineering.

The ideal candidate will serve as the Technical Data Product Owner, taking ownership of the product roadmap and its successful delivery. Clear accountability for scope, priorities, and tangible business outcomes is paramount. This position demands close collaboration with business, technology, and downstream stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements and drive execution effectively.

Key responsibilities include owning the product roadmap and delivery for an enterprise data product, with a strong focus on achieving business outcomes. You will work closely with various stakeholders to align requirements and drive execution. Managing expectations, resolving ambiguities, and bringing teams to a consensus on priorities are essential skills. Translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and prioritizing them based on value, risk, and dependencies will be a core part of the role.

Further responsibilities involve supporting data-led decision-making by evaluating trade-offs and impact across teams. You will also drive product ownership duties, including backlog management, ensuring requirement clarity, and overseeing execution follow-through. Decisions must be made in a structured, fact-based manner, prioritizing business value, feasibility, and adherence to controls.

To excel in this role, a strong foundation in data analytics and product ownership is necessary. Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and hands-on data analysis is essential. You should possess the ability to apply structured problem-solving and critical thinking to complex issues, identifying root causes and supporting sound decision-making. High attention to detail is required for requirement definition, data validation, and issue analysis.

Essential technical strengths include SQL (strong proficiency), a solid understanding of data products, data lineage, data modeling patterns, data warehousing, and expertise in APIs and integration. A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree is required. This is an onsite position based in Bengaluru, India.
