As an individual contributor and integral part of the Data & AI team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate execution of deliverables, managing work priorities and project changes effectively.

You will apply your technical expertise and industry insights to develop solutions, ensuring they align with customer business objectives. Your role involves accelerating customer value by designing, developing, and deploying solutions on Microsoft technologies.

Further responsibilities include contributing to the overall technical quality of project teams, defining and mitigating project risks and dependencies, and managing technical escalations. You will also drive the adoption of cloud and Microsoft technologies, collaborating with sales and account teams to articulate value propositions for strategic customers.

Additionally, you will champion innovation and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring the use of existing intellectual property to deliver maximum client value. This includes implementing technology strategies with senior support and adhering to information compliance and assurance policies. You will also be instrumental in fostering new ways of thinking to enhance quality, productivity, and responsiveness to feedback.

Qualifications

We are seeking candidates with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent work experience. Advanced relevant education is highly preferred.

Key qualifications include a strong understanding of solution design, planning, development, and deployment of complex solutions. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or Azure Solution Architect Expert are a plus.

Core competencies encompass hands-on experience in Data Engineering across various environments, deep knowledge of Azure Data Services, and experience with data modernization initiatives. Proficiency in data warehousing and analytics platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics is essential, with Azure Databricks being an advantage.

Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, building AI-powered data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools (Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Talend, Informatica, Airflow), and exposure to data migrations and platform upgrades are required. Understanding of multitenant data platform designs, security hardening, and access control is also necessary.

Foundational AI/ML skills are crucial, including experience with ML-ready datasets, feature engineering, and MLOps concepts on Azure. Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), model training/evaluation/deployment, and the Azure AI stack (Azure Foundry, Azure OpenAI) is expected. Practical experience or knowledge in NLP, Document Intelligence, Computer Vision, RAG frameworks, AI Search, and basic Prompt Engineering is also valued.

Familiarity with deep learning/Gen AI frameworks like TensorFlow/PyTorch, orchestration frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph, and Responsible AI principles is important. Experience in Agile teams with Azure DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps practices, along with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines, is essential. Strong programming experience, preferably in Python, is also required.

A consulting mindset is vital, including the ability to co-create innovative solutions with customers and communicate technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders. Comfort in ambiguous environments, rapid learning, and adaptability to change are key attributes. A passion for building engineering excellence, reusable components, and best practices is highly desired.

We also look for a strong commitment to continuous learning, curiosity for emerging technologies, and a willingness to grow technically and expand ownership. Familiarity with core data architecture patterns such as dimensional modeling, Lambda and Kappa architectures, and timeseries data processing is a plus.
