EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in Business Consulting Risk, specializing in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sector, focusing on Digital Risk. This role is based in Mumbai.

In this Senior Consultant role within Digital Risk, you will be instrumental in identifying and mitigating technical risks across Responsible AI dimensions, including bias, fairness, robustness, explainability, privacy, and model/data security.

You will perform quantitative AI model testing, conduct AI red teaming assessments to uncover safety and security vulnerabilities, and design/implement Responsible AI frameworks. Building and maintaining automated AI validation pipelines, implementing model interpretability solutions, and defining operational AI governance processes are key aspects of this position. Additionally, you will configure and monitor AI systems using MLOps, LLMOps, and DevOps practices, and collaborate with cybersecurity and fraud teams to address AI-driven risks. Translating AI regulations into technical requirements and communicating AI risks to diverse stakeholders will also be part of your responsibilities.

To qualify for this Senior Consultant position, candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field. A minimum of 4–7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or AI risk/governance roles is required.

Demonstrated hands-on experience in building, testing, deploying, and monitoring AI/ML systems in production is essential. A strong understanding of Responsible AI risks, quantitative AI testing, and MLOps/LLMOps/DevOps workflows is necessary. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional or client-facing teams. Familiarity with agentic AI systems and associated risks is a plus. Preferred certifications include Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Machine Learning – Specialty, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, CISSP, CCSP, or CRISC.
