Key responsibilities include interpreting banking/financial institution regulations, preparing management information systems (MIS) reports, and providing advisory support. You will also develop regulatory compliance checklists, track regulatory interactions, and proactively engage with stakeholders to ensure timely adherence to project timelines. Delivering high-quality work, identifying and escalating engagement risks, and building strong client relationships are essential.

Additionally, you will assist in developing new methodologies, share knowledge with team members, and create engagement plans. This involves understanding client environments, industry trends, and demonstrating expertise in compliance, financial, and operational risks. Applying a thorough understanding of internal control testing and SOX frameworks to mitigate risk is crucial.

To qualify for this role, you should possess a Chartered Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor certification, or a Master's degree in Business Administration. A minimum of 3-6 years of post-qualification experience in a regulatory compliance role within a bank or financial institution is required.

Expect to travel outside your assigned office location up to 50% of the time and commute within the region, as public transportation may be limited. A valid passport is mandatory. Strong communication skills are considered an ideal asset for this position.
