This role is within our General Insurance – Global Market – Business Consulting Risk – Actuarial team.

Execute projects within the Actuarial space, focusing on areas such as reserving, product development, pricing, statutory reporting, solvency assessment, and IFRS17 implementation. Develop Excel models tailored to client features and regulations. Conduct research on specialisms like Solvency II and IFRS17 to provide key client insights. Develop proposals for new engagements and contribute to best practice within the team. Share knowledge effectively and contribute to EY's profile externally, potentially through writing articles.

Key responsibilities also include developing deep technical Excel modeling skills, presenting technical knowledge internally and externally, and creating client reports and presentations.

We are seeking Actuaries with experience in the Indian/Global insurance market. A minimum of 6 months' hands-on experience in General Insurance (Actuarial domain) and having cleared at least 4 actuarial exams are required. Candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to balance priorities, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines with high quality. Essential attributes include self-motivation, outcome-focus, constructive handling of uncertainty, good working knowledge of actuarial concepts and methodologies, and familiarity with IFRS17.

Strong communication, documentation, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills are crucial. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, creative, and possess broad consulting and project management skills. The ability to work collaboratively, solve complex problems with practical solutions, and maintain positive energy while being adaptable is highly valued.
