This opportunity is within our Actuarial Services team, specializing in General Insurance and the Global Market. Our team provides expert advice across a range of critical areas including reserving, pricing, M&A support, capital requirements, solvency frameworks, IFRS reporting, business planning, reinsurance optimization, and regulatory compliance.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be instrumental in executing actuarial projects, bringing your expertise in the Indian and global insurance markets. Your role will involve supporting client engagements across reserving, product development, pricing, statutory reporting, solvency assessment, IFRS 17 implementation, and business planning.

You will develop sophisticated Excel models tailored to client product features and regulatory landscapes. Additionally, you'll contribute to research and specialized workstreams, develop compelling proposals for new business, and share knowledge to enhance our collective expertise. Presenting technical findings internally and externally, and maintaining deep technical knowledge in Excel modeling are key aspects of this role.

We are seeking actuaries with a strong foundation in general insurance actuarial domains, possessing at least 6 months of hands-on experience and having cleared a minimum of four actuarial exams. Candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with high-quality output.

Essential skills include a good working knowledge of relevant actuarial concepts and methodologies, along with proficiency in tools such as R, Python, SAS, and SQL. Familiarity with the latest accounting standard, IFRS 17, is crucial. Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and problem-solving skills are vital for success in this role, alongside a flexible and adaptable approach to complex challenges.
