The Financial Services Risk segment specifically assists clients in the financial sector by identifying, managing, and monitoring business risks through a transformative and agile methodology. This includes expertise in processes, risk management, data modeling and analytics, stakeholder reporting, business requirements, asset and liability analysis, and capital management.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing and developing comprehensive data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical representations, directly from business requirements. You'll construct and maintain essential documentation such as ER diagrams, data dictionaries, and metadata. Your role will involve a deep analysis of existing databases to identify key relationships, dependencies, and areas for enhancement.

Collaboration is key; you will work closely with Data Architects, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to translate intricate requirements into scalable and robust data models. You'll apply established normalization and dimensional modeling techniques for both operational and analytical systems. Furthermore, you will support crucial data integration, mapping, lineage, and governance initiatives, ensuring all models adhere to organizational data architecture, quality, and governance standards. A significant part of your responsibility will include reviewing database designs and providing recommendations to optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.

This role requires a minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience in Data Modeling and Data Management. A strong foundation in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling is essential, complemented by a good understanding of relational databases, ER modeling, normalization, and dimensional modeling techniques. Proficiency in SQL and a solid grasp of database concepts are mandatory.

Experience with leading modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar is expected. You should also possess an understanding of data warehousing principles, ETL/ELT processes, data governance, metadata management, and data lineage. Familiarity with major database platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, or Teradata is required. Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills are vital for success in this position.
