As part of the Sustainability and Energy Transition (S&ET) team, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through decarbonization efforts and embracing new energy solutions. Your role will involve working closely with consulting teams and clients to lead engagements focused on New Energy Go-to-Market strategies, Net-Zero initiatives, Energy Substitution, and Circular Economy principles.

Key responsibilities include: - Developing energy substitution, net-zero, and decarbonization strategies for clients. - Analyzing the energy transition landscape, evaluating the competitiveness of alternative fuels and technologies. - Staying abreast of regulatory developments in new energy verticals and assessing their business impact. - Understanding the financing and investment dynamics for emerging energy solutions. - Assisting clients in implementing decarbonization strategies across their value chains. - Generating innovative ideas for cleaner products, services, and business models. - Contributing to EY's go-to-market initiatives, including thought leadership and proposal development.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering coupled with a Master’s degree, preferably an MBA. An academic background in energy, environmental science, sustainability, or economics will be highly advantageous. We seek individuals with 3–5 years of professional experience in business consulting or relevant industry roles within the Energy sector.

Demonstrated exposure to new energy domains such as Green Hydrogen, Solar, Wind, Biomass/Biofuels, Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS), Net-Zero strategy, and decarbonization is essential.
