Join our Language Division PMU in Gurugram as a Policy and Programme Specialist. You will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of language institutions, ensuring alignment with NEP 2020.

This position supports impact assessment, policy alignment, and programme development. You will work closely with the Project Manager and contribute to key workstreams within the PMU.

Your primary responsibilities will include assessing institutional programmes against NEP 2020 language provisions, identifying policy gaps, and strengthening language education initiatives. You will also support governance reviews, design and administer surveys, and establish data governance mechanisms.

Develop comprehensive programme monitoring and impact assessment frameworks with clear KPIs. Prepare policy briefs, concept notes, and actionable proposals based on research and stakeholder feedback. Coordinate consultations, implementation plans, and capacity-building workshops.

A postgraduate degree in Management, Education, Public Policy, Sciences, or Social Sciences is required. You should possess strong skills in research, analysis, programme planning and monitoring, KPI and indicator design, survey design, and stakeholder coordination.

We prefer candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in education policy, programme management, public sector advisory, or monitoring and evaluation. Experience working with government ministries, state governments, or higher education institutions is highly valued. Familiarity with NEP 2020 and multilingual initiatives is a significant advantage.
