Join Axiom as a Senior Consultant specializing in Hybrid Cloud Engineering. This role is integral to Deloitte's Technology & Transformation practice, focusing on leveraging data to drive strategic guidance and implementation services. You will contribute to enhancing business intelligence, data management, and next-generation analytics within a dynamic environment.

As an Axiom Engineer, your primary responsibility will be developing and delivering robust engineering solutions aligned with business objectives. Cultivating a deep understanding of core engineering principles and performing root cause analysis for product enhancements are key aspects of this position. Emphasis will be placed on building reliability and resiliency through proactive testing and automating the delivery lifecycle.

Design, develop, test, and maintain sophisticated Java-based applications. Create and support RESTful APIs and microservices leveraging the Spring Boot framework. Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to Core Java best practices. Engage with relational databases for query design, data management, and performance optimization. Diagnose, debug, and resolve complex application issues effectively. Collaborate with diverse teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Adhere strictly to coding standards, best practices, and software development methodologies. Actively participate in code reviews, testing cycles, deployment processes, and ongoing application maintenance.

A minimum of 4–5 years of progressive experience in Java development. Proficiency in Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading. Solid experience with Spring Boot and the broader Spring Framework. Demonstrated hands-on expertise in Microservices architecture and REST API development. Strong knowledge of SQL and various relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA. Proficiency with version control systems like Git. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience is required.
