Join our dynamic Engineering, AI & Data team as a Senior Consultant specializing in AWS DevOps. This role is crucial for modernizing existing systems and implementing new technology products and platforms, driving financial performance and fueling growth. As a Senior Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in software engineering and DevOps practices to ensure the reliability and performance of critical systems. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Maintain high application uptime and performance, ensuring seamless daily operational activities. You will manage system enhancements, address defects, and drive continuous improvement in line with ITIL best practices.

Modify existing codebases, understand microservices architecture, and develop/maintain REST web services. You will be responsible for implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab, and ensure robust containerization with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

Utilize AWS services extensively, including EC2, IAM, S3, API Gateway, CloudFormation, VPC, ECS, EKS, EFS, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Event Bridge, RDS, and CodeBuild. You will also be proficient in automation and scripting with SHELL or Python, and YAML for configuration management.

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required, along with 5-10 years of experience in the software development lifecycle or Agile methodologies. Strong teamwork, self-management, and problem-solving abilities are essential.

You must possess strong experience in software engineering, SRE, DevOps, or production support roles, with a solid understanding of reliability engineering principles like SLIs and SLOs. Experience in incident response and working effectively across engineering, QA, and business stakeholders in a regulated environment is key.

Demonstrate hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab), containerization (Docker, K8S/EKS), and orchestration (HELM). Proficiency in automation and scripting (SHELL or Python) is also a must, along with experience in monitoring tools such as Splunk and Grafana. Experience with ITSM frameworks and related tools like ServiceNow or JIRA is highly valued.
