The position involves leading business analysis teams to evaluate business problems, develop solutions, and manage product backlogs. You will ensure stakeholders understand the impact of changes and maintain a high standard of documentation, including data dictionaries and business process flows.

The role also encompasses supporting UK and European business projects, managing new and existing products, and driving innovation across systems. Strong relationship management skills are crucial for maintaining superior client service.

Key responsibilities include understanding complex business issues and their technical implications, performing in-depth data analysis, and producing data mappings. You will act as a data owner, comprehending end-to-end data journeys and analyzing the impact of upstream changes. Responsibilities extend to creating data catalogs, writing user stories, leading walkthroughs, and deriving business insights from data.

Additional duties involve managing demanding work environments, interacting with various business levels, driving solution discussions, defining project scope, and producing detailed specifications. You will ensure delivered solutions are fit for purpose, obtain stakeholder approvals, and coordinate functionality across multiple system projects. Acting as a proxy customer to development teams and driving user acceptance criteria are also core aspects of this role.

The ideal candidate possesses strong SQL query writing abilities and extensive data analysis experience. Proven experience leading teams of Business Analysts is required, along with proficiency in writing API contracts using Swagger. You should have experience managing multiple stakeholders across different geographies and a solid background in business process re-engineering, user requirement gathering, and gap analysis.

Experience in producing functional specifications (FSDs) and solution design documents in collaboration with architects and developers is essential. The ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications for internal and external resources is a must. A strong understanding of Agile methodology and familiarity with user stories are necessary. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills are paramount for this role.
