This role is integral to our platform development and integration efforts, focusing on managing new business requirements, coordinating changes, and ensuring application stability. You'll work with vast amounts of data, leveraging strategic guidance and implementation services to transform information into actionable insights for fact-driven decision-making.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and implementing new business requirements and application enhancements. You'll act as a key liaison between business, development, and support teams, analyzing requirements to translate them into robust technical solutions for microservices and APIs. Your role involves coordinating with development teams on design, development, and deployment, performing impact analysis on existing microservices, and validating API changes for seamless integration.

Additional responsibilities include supporting minor production issues with prompt resolution, conducting root cause analysis for recurring problems, and suggesting improvements. You will also be involved in configuring and troubleshooting integrations with APIGEE and Kafka, working with Oracle database queries for data validation and performance checks, and participating in release planning, testing, and post-deployment activities. Maintaining essential documentation for changes and enhancements is also a key aspect of this role.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Management, or a related field. Essential technical skills include a strong understanding of Microservices Architecture, API integration, and enterprise integration patterns. Proficiency in working with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, Kafka (Topics, Producer, Consumer, Partitions, ACLs), and APIGEE components (API, Proxy, Policies, Oauth, KVM, Routing, Quota, Spike Arrest) is required.

Hands-on experience with Web Services (JSON, XML) and Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL) is crucial. Familiarity with log monitoring tools, JIRA, Service NOW, and basic Linux/Unix commands is expected. Experience with release coordination and change management is also highly valued. Experience in banking or financial services is preferred, as is familiarity with API gateways, service mesh concepts, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
