We are seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in APIGEE and platform development.

Key responsibilities include managing and implementing new business requirements and application enhancements, acting as a liaison between business, development, and support teams. You will analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions for microservices and APIs, coordinating development and deployment efforts.

Responsibilities also involve performing impact analysis on existing microservices and integrations, validating API changes, and ensuring seamless system integration. You'll support minor production issues, conduct root cause analysis for recurring problems, and suggest improvements. The role requires configuration and troubleshooting of integrations involving APIGEE and Kafka, alongside Oracle database queries and data validation.

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and API integration patterns. Essential working knowledge includes REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, Kafka, and APIGEE components like API, Proxy, Policies, Oauth, KVM, Routing, Quota, and Spike Arrest.

Hands-on experience with REST APIs/Web Services (JSON, XML) and Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL) is required. Familiarity with log monitoring tools, JIRA, Service NOW, and basic Linux/Unix commands is beneficial. Experience in release coordination and change management is also valued. Domain experience in banking or financial services, along with knowledge of API gateways, service mesh concepts, and monitoring tools, is preferred.
